Exposing those who really are robbing God in the churches of
this world, and it's not you the
member...
Christ Jesus says
to us..."Freely You Have Received; Freely Give"(Matthew
10:8)
Most ministers of these
churches in this world (2 Cor. 11:3,7,12-15
and Rev. 2:9,13,24) would have you to believe that Christ
spoke these words to you the members rather than His Disciples whom
He was sending out to preach the gospel saying, "Kingdom of
heaven is at hand" (Matt. 10:7). These words in
Matthew 10:8, Christ is speaking to your
minister and not, I repeat not you the member who
receive the word.
This site seeks to give
you the whole counsel of God concerning tithes and
offerings under the New Covenant. Have you ever wonder why
your minister will tell you the Old Covenant and its Holy days with
its ordinances and regulations are done away with; yet these same
ministers will demand that you give them a tithe (ten percent)
of your earnings which was one of those same ordinances under the
Old Covenant, which was done away with. For the Holy Spirit
clearly says, "in speaking of a new covenant,
He has made the first covenant obsolete"
(Hebrews 8:13).
Today, these ministers
who are preaching this blasphemous teaching of tithing have set
themselves up as "priests of God" to collect tithes and
offerings from those seeking salvation through Christ Jesus. They
have took tithes from you as if they were "priests
of God", and some even claim to be "super
priests" or "high priests" collecting
tithes from their fellow ministers in the faith. They willingly
ignore and twist the Holy Scriptures which plainly say,
"...No man takes the honor of the high priesthood upon
himself, but only he who is called by God, in the same way as Aaron
also was called" (Hebrews 5:4).
The next time your
minister demand you pay him or her (for their of some women
out there who claim they are ministers also) a tithe or tenth
of your income; ask them about Hebrews 7:5. Here
the Spirit tells us that only the sons of Levi were commanded to
collect tithes from their male brothers (notice I say males and not
females); and this commandment was under the old covenant
("according to the law"), which is
obsolete. Ask your minister to explain this
Scripture.
Evangelist Ron Davis, a Minister
of Christ, of the Kush Edifying
Ministries proclaims the whole counsel of God. His ministry
believes in the command of Jesus to His disciples in Matthew
10:7-8 "As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is
near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have
leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give"
(NIV). Jesus commands us, as
ministers to "freely" preach the word without demanding
that those who are preached to, to give us a tithe or tenth of their
earnings. Tithing is not commanded under the New Covenant - NEVER
HAVE BEEN - for there is no temple other than your body where
God the Father in heaven and His Christ Jesus dwell; but greedy
ministers of the likes of Balaam in Jude 1:11, the man of God
who peddled the word of God have set themselves up as sons of Levi,
claiming they are collecting your money for God when its
for their pockets, and NOT GOD's. They are referred to by the
Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians 2:17 as those who are
"peddling the word of God"
for profit; that is "gospel peddlers" who decided to extort
money from the masses of people in times past by
self-appointing themselves in the place of the sons of Levi (for NO
MAN takes on this office except by GOD) - who under the Old Covenant
received the authority from God to collect tithes for the upkeep of
His Sanctuary, the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting and Ark of the
Testimony, the temple of God under the old
Covenant (Exodus chapters 25 and 40; Numbers
18).
